Royal Marine Aaron Moon was driving an armoured vehicle in Afghanistan when an explosive device went off.
The 22-year-old from Wigan suffered a fractured shoulder, vertebra, pelvis, hip, heel and legs in the blast on February 17.
Aaron was flown back to England and is now recovering in hospital in Headley Court Hospital near Epsom where he is learning to walk again.
