Mark Goodier

Tune into Mark every weekday from 10am.
His radio career began at Radio Forth in 1980, then Glasgow’s Radio Clyde and Newcastle’s Metro Radio, to Radio 1 where he had an amazing 15 years. Since 2002 he's presented for Classic FM and Real Radio, as well as the BBC World Service and BBC Radio 2.
When he's not at work he tries to relax, although with 3 kids and 2 dogs it's easier said than done. He's partial to an Italian, enjoying a risotto and a glass of red wine! He doesn't need to go abroad to holiday, he's a fan of the North Norfolk Coast...as long as there's sunshine.
He's a big Bowie fan especially of his early work in the 1970s, but he's a big fan of the 1970s anyway naming Elton John, Rod Stewart and the Faces and Marc Bolan among his favourite artists. Not forgetting though his favourite album is '80s classic 'Purple Rain' by Prince.
