My radio career began in the late 1970s firstly working on Hospital Radio, then moving on to the local BBC station. In 1984 I had a fantastic opportunity to work for Radio Caroline broadcasting on the Ross Revenge, out in the North Sea. I moved up to the North East 18 years ago, to join the team for the start of Great North Radio, then moved to Century Radio for their launch, eventually ending up at Durham FM and also Alpha 103.2 in Darlington.

When I’m not working I like to spend time with the wife and kids, and going out for meals with our friends.
