Hi Smooth,

I had a eureka moment today whilst frantically shopping for my starlight supper! I had initially asked my guests to each bring along one course of the 5 course evening meal. However, today with less than 24 hours to go, and to up the anti, I decided that after each course, each guest will decide how much they wish to pay for the course that they hve just eaten!

I thought that this would liven things up a bit as my mates are nothing if not competitive, and will each not only want to outdo each other, but raise the most dosh!

10 of us will be getting together for a Smooth Starlight Supper in the village of Tillingham in Essex. We have all helped out in preparing food and shall be enjoying

Hummus and crudite
Homemade bread
Baked Salmon with 'jewelled' rice,horesradish mayo and salad.
French Daube of Beef with creamy mash and cabbage.
Sticky Toffee pudding
Carrot cake with cream
Cheese and crackers
Coffee and Port

It should be a good one !!!

Starter; Red Pepper Soup
Crab/Prawn and Avocado Tower

Mains; Sea Bass Fillets on a bed of Champ

Dessert; Eton Mess

Cocktail;
POMTINI
30ml POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
45ml vodka
45ml grapefruit juice
15ml sour mix, or 15ml freshly squeezed lime
15ml simple syrup (equal parts sugar and cold water dissolved together)
Spiraled orange rind for garnish
Ice cubes

Hello Smooth just to let you know preparation is well in hand for our Smooth Radio Starlight Supper - it has grown a little though and we are now hosting a Smooth Radio Starlight Party as there are now about 20 of us.
